Kids today aren’t spending nearly as much time outside as past generations. And it’s having negative effects. Great Outdoors Colorado is on a mission to change that.
To inspire kids and parents to get out, we created a list of 100 things to do before you’re 12.
A series of tv spots were created. Each spot focused on one list item and used a different animation or film making technique to allude to the surprising and imaginative qualities of outdoor play. Digital display ads drove moms to download the list and share it with their kiddos. Bus shelters became interactive installations.
By the end of the first year of the campaign, Generation Wild became a widely recognized and beloved movement.he
